By using this website and my counselling services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

– I offer counselling services in accordance with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) guidelines.

Initial consultations are free of charge, and they are used to discuss your needs and determine whether my services are suitable for you.

2. Confidentiality

– All sessions are confidential, following BACP ethical standards. However, confidentiality may be breached in cases of risk of harm to yourself or others or if required by law.

3. Fees and Payment

– Fees for counselling sessions are agreed in advance and apply to each session.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations require a minimum of 7 days’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a full session fee.

5. Online Counselling

– Online sessions must be conducted from a private space to ensure confidentiality. Sessions held in public spaces may be terminated, and the full fee will apply.

6. Accessibility

– Currently, I am unable to offer wheelchair access at my locations, and I cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Please inform me of any specific accessibility needs.

8. Data Protection

– Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and will only be used for the purposes of providing counselling services.

Payment Policy

1. Fees

  • The fee for each counselling session is generally £70 or £80 unless a different rate is agreed upon during the initial booking and contracting process. This fee will be communicated to you before your first paid session.

2. Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made via:
    • Bank Transfer: You will receive my bank details upon booking.
    • Standing Order: You can set up a standing order for weekly payments, which can be arranged by your first session or at any time for your convenience.
    • Payment Link: A link will be provided for easy online payment.

3. Payment Timing

  • Payment is required at the time of booking and, in any case, before each session. This ensures that your session is reserved and allows us to maintain a smooth scheduling process.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • To avoid being charged the full session fee, cancellations must be made with a minimum of 7 days’ notice. Refunds for cancellations made within the required notice period will be processed promptly via bank transfer.

5. Non-Attendance

  • If you do not attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.

6. Secure Payment System

  • All payments are processed through a secure payment system to protect your financial information. If you have any concerns about payment security, please contact me directly.
